NOT JUST US

DofE_AAP_logo_black.png

OUR 'NOT JUST US' PROGRAMME IS TRULY UNIQUE

Not Just Us (NJU) gives communities the knowledge to change an unfair world; both as more informed consumers and as the ETHICAL ENTREPRENEURS of tomorrow.

NJU supports people to create their very own social enterprises, working together as groups, and using our FREE ‘NJU Toolkit. NJU provides ethical business skills ‘in real time,’ and can help to generate money for a local or charitable cause that people care about.

But the NJU approach goes far beyond that of the ‘usual’ social enterprise.

This is because NJU focuses on ETHICAL enterprises and in every aspect business and social ethics are incorporated. Plus, NJU participants have the support and advice from some of the world’s leading ethical entrepreneurs, who help them to better understand the current imbalanced trade system and show them how to build a business that challenges it.

Who Can Join NJU?

To date, we have worked with those from less affluent socio-economic backgrounds, disabled and neurodivergent adults, pensioners, black and ethnic minority groups, survivors of domestic violence, homeless people and refugees.

NJU has worked successfully within schools too - and our NJU Toolkit materials can also be used by community groups wanting to learn how to run their own community asset or business, and individuals who are keen to set-up their own ethical enterprise.

But whatever your background – if you are interested in learning more about ethical enterprise in your community you can either access our Toolkit (scroll down or go to RESOURCES) OR click the button below to get in touch if you have any further questions!

NJU TOOLKIT & RESOURCES

The NJU Toolkit provides you with everything you need to learn about ETHICAL ENTERPRISE and, if you choose to do so, to set up your own ethical business. Our Toolkit helps you to understand the issues behind trade injustice as well as giving you a helping hand to generating some income for your community.
